West Gate Bridge will be closed in both directions again tonight, Wednesday 20 March, due to gusts of wind that prevented crews from safely installing a 60 metre long gantry last night.

The bridge will be closed between Todd Road and Williamstown Road
- Inbound carriageway closed between 10pm and 5am.
- Outbound lane closed between 11pm and 5am.

Outbound detour is via Wurundjeri Way, Dudley Street, Footscray Road, Moreland Street, Whitehall Street, Francis Street and Williamstown Road.
Inbound detours are via Geelong Road, Ballarat Road, Moore Street, Dynon Road, Spencer Street, Dudley Street and King Street.
