Applications are now open for Wyndham City’s Small Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation Fund. This annual program has been specifically designed to support very young businesses and start-ups that demonstrate a high level of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Small Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation Fund is building employment opportunities and providing local jobs for local people, which is at the very heart of Wyndham City’s Economic Growth Strategy. The program is also for more established businesses that are innovative and seek to scale up and/or diversify their operations to grow existing markets and/or penetrate new markets.

Eligibility

For Wyndham City’s Small Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation Fund, businesses that meet the following business structures may apply:

• non-employing businesses - sole proprietorships and partnerships without employees;
• micro-businesses - businesses employing five people or less; either full-time, part-time or a combination of full-time and part-time

To be eligible for funding, the applicant must be a business that:

• has its principal place of business within Wyndham;
• has a current, active ABN;
• is compliant with all relevant local, state and federal legislation.
