Today I was tailgated and abused by a man dropping a child off opposite the Waterway. He tried to instigate a fight because I was driving at about 30kmph for safety of Birdlife that often crosses the road there. I had touched the brakes to say slow down. At the lights he screamed at me, screamed that his child was late getting dropped off. I advised him that we drive slowly to protect the wildlife and he just screamed that there wasn't any on the road at the time. How can we organise signage along the Waterway advising of wildlife crossing and requesting a reduced limit? This is not the first time I have observed this selfish type of behaviour and it's getting increasingly hard to deal with it calmly. Next time I may handle it differently. We need to protect our beautiful wildlife and residents that walk along the water. How can this be addressed?
