Have you started to use the National Broadband Network (NBN) ? What's your experience about it? Or do you have any problems, questions and issues about it?
You're kidding right?????
What NBN?
there is no NBN infrastructure in Williams Landing and no immediate plans to do so, Telstra have limited ports and mobile internet is just a joke. This NBN usage Q is just a joke too!
Hi jj, Williams Landing definitely have NBN infrastructure. If you check out the NBN offical site: http://www.nbnco.com.au/when-do-i-get-it/rollout-map.html
You'll see a part of Ashcroft estate already has NBN avaliable and the Kingwell estate will be almost fully covered by NBN. Williams Landing is actually one of the leading western suburb to have the NBN.
Roll out is not on the ajenda for 3 years is the NBNCo infrastructure plans, yes I've looked at the site, rang the number, even contacted providers incase it was NBN Co hadn't updated their info and guess what? NO NBN and no plans for rollout in the next 3 years. So the spiel sounds good but the reality is rather different.
Which estate are you living in? If you live in Ashcroft estate you might be right.. According to the rollout map on NBN's website, Ashcroft estate only has a small part (south west corner) has NBN infrastructure. Hope they can start construction for the rest of Ashcroft estate soon!
Hi everyone, I have been spoken to the Mayor and the Glenn the councillor regarding the problem in our area: no NBN plan and no cable internet, only the slow often off, always fighting ports' deadly wireless internet. We are the NBN forgotten area!!!
Everyone needs to do the same job as me: speak to the Mayor and the councillor about our problem: we pay rate but we don't get the basic untility of the internet!!!
Here are the contacts: Bob: 0409408449; Glenn: 0429959941
The more we express our problem, the quicker we can get the basic internet facility.
Let's action but not only talking and expressing our anger on the net.
Ashcroft resident here. We were on the waiting list for ADSL with Telstra for over a year when one day a few months ago it got connected out of the blue. Apparently people on the other side of the street had NBN this whole time ans we had nothing.
