On 25th June 2019, Wyndham City Council adopted its 2019/20 City Plan and Annual Budget. $1.236 million is included in the budget towards a library and community centre in Williams Landing.

On 16 August 2022, Williams Landing Library Lounge - a much smaller version of the originally planned Williams Landing Library and Community Centre opened to the public.
