Have your say on Wyndham's Draft Annual Plan and Budget 2023/24
The council has prepared a Draft Annual Plan and Budget for the financial year 2023/24 which outlines important capital works, services, and priorities to be delivered. The plan is aimed at creating a more livable city while keeping costs down.
The Draft Annual Plan and Budget 2023/24 includes:
- $168.3 million Capital Works Program
- $33.6 million for building, upgrading, and renewing the local road network.
- $20 million for Kindergarten and children's services.
- $12.7 million for parks, open space, and streetscapes improvements.
- $11.8 million for Wyndham Coastal & Marine Management Plan and Greening the Pipeline.
- $11.9 million for Maternal and Child Health Immunisation Services.
- $10.8 million for Library services.
- $5 million for Active Transport Network improvements to connect the city.
- $1.45 million for Community Grants supporting not-for-profit organizations and community-based groups.
- $724,000 for Public Art projects across Wyndham.
The council welcomes feedback from the community about the Draft Annual Plan and Budget. Residents can provide their feedback through a survey or by filling out a hard copy form and emailing it or posting it to the council. The council is also holding pop-up events throughout May in different locations across Wyndham for those who want to chat in person.
The deadline for providing feedback is 11:59 PM on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
