Truth or Lies? Jobs in store at Masters?

It is reported on a newspaper that the Masters store in Williams Landing had created 120 jobs for residents in Wyndham.

It stated:

The home improvement store. opening next week has created 120 jobs for residents in Williams Landing and surrounding suburbs, including Truganina, Tarneit and Point Cook.

However, local residents reported that they did not see any job had been posted on their website:

I have never seen a single job ever been posted on their website for this Williams Landing store.

We're in doubt that if Masters really created that much jobs in Williams Landing and surrounding suburbs. And we're wondering where the figure 120 came from.

Do you know anyone who live in Williams Landing and surrounding suburbs works for Masters?

When they say that there are 120 jobs generated for Williams Landing, it doesnt mean that 120 jobs are given to residents of Williams Landing. It means that there are 120 opportunities for people to work in Williams Landing - and anyone should be able to work here. I think this is much more important than how many Masters staff live within Williams Landing - how do you know that a lot of them aren't from Point Cook, Werribee etc.? The claim that there are 120 jobs in our suburb is fantastic. In my opinion you are missing the point of having such a great start to job opportunities. I think they are doing a great job, and I think that your accusation of Lying about jobs is unfair, and an excuse to write an article.
